What ships as a sample
Each Mod Cabs collection ships as a full-size 7" × 7" sample door — the same door, same finish, same edge profile, same hardware bore holes as the production cabinet. You see the exact reveal, the exact sheen, and the exact grain (on wood finishes) that will land in your kitchen.
The sample is the first row of every collection page. It's priced at $15 and credited back toward your first cabinet order over $1,000.
How to evaluate a sample once it arrives
View the sample in three lighting conditions before you decide. First, mid-morning daylight — this is how most guests will see the kitchen. Second, evening under your existing overhead lights — most kitchen fixtures are 2700K-3000K and shift warm tones warmer. Third, with the strong afternoon sun coming through your kitchen window — this is where South Florida homes reveal color shifts that don't appear in a showroom.
Compare the sample against your countertop material, your flooring, and any wall paint you're planning to use. Set them side-by-side on the counter and step back six feet. This is how you'll actually see them in your finished kitchen.
Compare two or three finishes at once
